It is the mission of the Hidalgo County Bar Association to promote and encourage the highest level of honesty,
competence, ethics and professionalism among members of the bar; to educate and inform the public in order to increase
the public’s understanding and appreciation of the legal system; to serve the community through the support of free
legal service projects, educational programs, charitable activities and other public service events; to promote the fair and
efficient administration of justice; to cultivate fellowship and promote voluntarism among the members of the bar; and
to encourage the free exchange of information and ideas about the law and the legal profession among the members.
